RYDLYME Biodegradable Descaler

RYDLYME biodegradable industrial chemical descaler is used to safely and efficiently dissolve tough mineral deposits such as water scale, limescale, calcium- carbonate, calcium, mud, and rust from virtually any piece of water-based equipment. This biodegradable descaler is fortified with a complex formula of wetting and penetrating agents that dissolve into a solution for quick and easy disposal. 

RYDLYME biodegradable descaler is as much as 12x faster than other chemical descalers, with most cleaning applications completed within a few hours. Unlike mechanical cleaning methods (e.g. brushing, rodding, hydro blasting), the RYDLYME descaler can be circulated through equipment or system without arduous and costly dismantling.

Product Specification

  • Non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-injurious, non-toxic, and fully biodegradable descaler is used to actually dissolve water scale, lime, mud, rust, and other water formed deposits from water operated equipment
  • The temperature within the operating limits between 0° F / 18°C and 180°F / 82C and should be applied at ambient temperatures (50°F / 10° C and 75°F / 24°C) with full effectiveness and results obtainable
  • The concentrated solution can be held safely in the open hand without deleterious effects.
  •  Does not corrode, erode, attack, oxidize or have other deleterious effects on virtually any metal or materials found in water systems such as:

         COPPER      FIBER         LEATHER        IRON             BRASS        PLASTIC

         RUBBER      STEEL        STAINLESS     TITANIUM      GLASS       CERAMIC     

or other materials found in heat exchangers, vacuum pumps, evaporators,  condensers, and/or other water-cooled, water heated, or water operated equipment when used as directed. Excepted magnesium, zinc, and/or aluminum, it could oxidize or pit when using 100% concentrated (non-diluted)  

  • The solution has a specific gravity of 1.045 and has a vaporization temperature of 213°F / 100°C. and does not have an open or closed cup flashpoint.
  • The solution does not require neutralizers, as it is free rinsing with water.
